The silky feel of activism
So, while we’re on the subject of Hiatus-related apparel, I’m pleased to announce the opening of the Save Hiatus web store! We’ll be working over the next week or so to integrate it into this site, but for now, you can get to it through this link.
One of the sections we’ve set up is the San Diego Comic-Con 2008 Save Hiatus Booth Babe (and Dude) Brigade™ t-shirt section. We’ll have more details in the coming weeks about the SDCCSHBB(aD)B™, but I can tell you now the only requirement to join this elite squad is to wear one of these fine shirts at Comic-Con.
(And, yes, we have one with just the circle-H, but if you want to join the Brigade, you’ve gotta sport the URL!) If you’ve got any special requests (e.g., plus sizes, etc.) we’re happy to accomodate! Just drop us a line through our contact form.

Ooo… the shirts are shiny! Too bad the San Diego Comic Con is on the West Coast. ;P
This strip was funny and informative. I had no idea about the bananas.

Dude come to some of the Northeast cons and I’ll totally be a part of your booth dude brigade!

Man, I’d love to get back to the east coast one of these days. When I do, I’ll definitely try to time it to coincide with a con.

You are familiar with the efforts to save the tv show “dollhouse” just barely less than a year from the time it debuts? I assume the things people will send in are either blank expression dolls of any type or just your average barbie. =)

I know that in an attempt to save the Dresden Files we mailed in drumsticks. I sent mine in.
